Diana M. Pho is an editor at Tor Books and blogs for Tor.com. She is also an academic scholar, activist, performer, and general rabble-rouser. In the steampunk community, she is best-known for running Beyond Victoriana, an award-winning, US-based blog on multicultural steampunk. Authors Diana has recently worked with include Alex Bledsoe, P. Djeli Clark, A.J. Hartley, Margaret Killjoy, and Lettie Prell. In 2017 she is excited to introduce debut works by Lara Elena Donnelly, Thoraiya Dyer, Robyn Bennis, and Kari Maaren. Diana is also involved with the best-selling The Wheel of Time series and George R. R. Martin’s Wild Cards universe.
She acquires adult, young adult, and graphic novels in science fiction and fantasy and is especially interested in supporting marginalized writers. Current interests include transhumanism, virtual realities, time travel, the multiverse, climate dystopias (or utopias!), cyberpunk multinational futures, afrofuturism, historical fantasy, alternate history, dark fantasy, and contemporary fantasy.
